Brooklyn Potters gathers members into a community to enhance shared aesthetic and technical interests in the clay arts. Interaction and exchange is facilitated between clay artists as well as with the general public of Metropolitan New York through exhibitions, lectures, discussions, workshops, publications, conferences, studio visits and art making activities as well as regularly scheduled membership meetings.

Join us as New York–based sculptor Arlene Shechet discusses her work with Catherine Morris, Sackler Family Curator for the Brooklyn Museum's Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art. Shechet creates art that honors and subverts decorative arts-and-crafts traditions with visceral, eccentric, and surreal forms. Support for this event is provided by the Helene Zucker Seeman Memorial Exhibition Fund. Tickets are $16, which includes general admission. Read More.
