BWAC Call for Entries - 3rd Annual National Juried Ceramic Sculpture Exhibit

Call for Entries
3rd Annual National Juried Ceramic Sculpture Exhibit
October 3rd – October 25th, 2015
Origins  invites you to risk stepping outside of what is expected of works in clay.  It evokes visions that are traditional, experimental, and everything in between.

Juror: Judith Schwartz - Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Art Professors at New York University, where she directs the Sculpture Craft Media area and teaches courses in ceramic art. She publishes in both national and international journals, and has curated numerous exhibitions including Confrontational Clay, which was on national tour through 2002.
“Clay may start out soft,” says Judith Schwartz, “but in the right hands it can deliver a hard blow.” She wants people to think of clay as more than ceramics with functional vessels or charming knick-knacks.
